As the charity continued to expand its support services, it became increasingly important that visitors could quickly find the information and guidance they needed. Working in partnership with The Sowerby Group, Hands Digital was appointed to redesign the website and refresh elements of the organisation’s branding, creating a more accessible and user-focused digital experience.

Creating a Clearer Experience.
Using website analytics and user behaviour, we restructured the website around the charity’s key services, simplifying navigation and refining elements of the branding to create a more intuitive, mobile-first experience.

Built for Performance and Accessibility.
The new website was designed and developed with accessibility, usability and long-term flexibility in mind. Fully responsive across desktop, tablet and mobile devices, the website provides a faster, more intuitive experience for users seeking information and support.
Behind the scenes, the content management system was structured to make future updates straightforward, while improved page layouts, clearer calls to action and a logical site structure provide a strong foundation for future growth and improved search visibility.

A Platform for the Future.
The completed website provides the charity with a modern, accessible platform that better supports both its team and the communities it serves. Visitors can now navigate the site more confidently, locate essential services more quickly and access information with fewer barriers.
By combining thoughtful planning, improved branding and a user-first website structure, the project has created a digital platform that will continue to support the charity’s work for years to come.
Hands Digital were fantastic to work with. They explained everything clearly, kept us updated throughout and created a website we’re incredibly proud of.
